Scratching is a natural part of your cat’s behaviour.  It helps to keep her claws in trim which is why all cats do it.

A Cat Post or a Cat Scratcher will encourage your cat to scratch but will save your carpets and furniture! 

You can even get them with added catnip which most cats love!!
