Dog kennels are their special places

Originally, wild dogs lived in dens and caves and modern day dog kennels take the place of the ancient den. Dogs must have a place that is their own space, just as we humans have our own private spaces. The term ‘dog kennel’ covers an enormous variety of types that includes both outdoor and indoor dog kennels.

Ideas 4 Pets offer dog kennels for outdoor use which include a run, right down to smaller dog kennels where dogs can sleep and shelter. Once we start looking at indoor dog kennels too the scope truly becomes vast.

There are types of dog kennels for all shapes and sizes of canine. Some of the ultra modern dog kennels look like igloos, are made of easy-to-clean plastic and are very low maintenance.

A kennel for every dog

As the owner, you must decide if you want a functional outdoor dog kennel with run included if you want to keep your dog outdoors. Indoor dog kennels are constructed differently and the type will be determined by the type and size of the dog. Dog kennels can be made very comfortable for any dog by adding pillows, blankets and toys.

As long as they are not used as a place for punishment or confined in them for long periods, many dogs become very fond of their private quarters and happily spend time there.

Here at Ideas 4 Pets, we can advise you on the best kennel setup for your dog or dogs, so get in touch after taking a look around the dog kennels for offer on our website. You will soon get ideas of what types and styles are available so that you can get that perfect dog kennel that will suit your dog and circumstances completely.

What would you suggest for an indoor crate for an irish setter?

    Hi Gy

We would recommend you look at cages approx. 36″W x 25″D x 27″H or 42″W x 25″D x 27″ depending on whether your dog is a female or a male.

    Regards
    Sue
