Did you know that a guinea pig loves to have lots of exercise? A good guinea pig hutch is a must and the bigger the better.

As a general rule the guinea pig hutch should be at least 4 times the length of your guinea pig when stretched out and when it is full grown. The longer your guinea pig has to stay in his hutch or or if you intend to keep a number of guinea pigs together in the same guinea pig hutch, the larger the hutch should be.

Guinea pigs love to play and enjoy running about, so will also need to purchase either a guinea pig hutch with an under-run or a single hutch and a run where your guinea pig will have plenty of room to run around on a daily basis.
