Guinea pigs love to have space and so the guinea pig hutch you provide for him should be as large as possible.

As a general rule the guinea pig hutch should be at least 4 times the length of the guinea pig stretched out when it is full grown.

Your guinea pig should have a warm enclosed area to sleep in and an area to play. As guinea pigs love to run around then you should either invest in a hutch that has an under-run. You could also get him an independent run that will allow him loads of space to run around safely.
