There are such a lot of parrot cages on the market at the moment that it isn’t always easy to choose the right one for your bird.

Most bird cages are finished with non-toxic paints which result in a long lasting and safe environment for birds, but it is worth remembering that the parrot cage and it’s contents must be kept in pristine condition at all times to ensure a happy, lively, healthy and long living pet parrot.

Always choose as big a parrot cage as you can and try to make sure that each dimension is at least as big as the bird’s wingspan.

When purchasing a bird cage, always allow for toys, perches and other cage fittings and try to leave plenty of unobstructed space for your Parrot to exercise.

Most Parrots will be much happier in a large parrot cage that gives them plenty of room to swing from toys, hang from the bars, flap their wings and generally have fun.
