Halls Log Cabin Instructions STEP 1 Choose the size of the Log Cabin you would like and go into your garden and mark out the external are. This can be done very simply with a string line and four pegs or bricks. Check the Log Cabin size selected will fit. Planning permission is not generally required if the Log Cabin is more than 5m away from your property. Your local authority can advise you on this. STEP 2 Prepare a firm & level slab or concrete base 10cm longer and wider than the external measurements of the Log Cabin and optional decking you have ordered. Ensure base is square by measuring corner to corner. Our installation team will erect your Log Cabin on your prepared base on the arranged day (Mon-Fri) STEP 3 If a concrete base or concrete base & electrics are required, then a site survey will be necessary. Please contact us stating your name and full address for a site survey form to be posted to you or a fax number we can fax it to. The site survey form must be completed and returned to us by post or faxed to us on 01274 562280. You will then be contacted to arrange a suitable date for the survey. STEP 4 Any optional extras must be ordered at the time of ordering the Log Cabin (i.e. front decking, additional window, coloured roof shingles, insulation, paint. STEP 5 Once you are happy that the above terms and conditions are satisfied then you should proceed with your order. STEP 6 Delivery is approx. 8 weeks from placement of order.
